Below is what I sent out in advance of the meeting we were going to have in July but cancelled! So where it says any July dates, substitute Oct! Thanks everyone. Terry ------------------ I will be sending out a general announcement which you will all also receive - please SPREAD THE WORD - we need lots of new faces at this meeting. The general announcement to follow soon is the one you should probably send out to everyone - if they come to the planning sesssions then they can get added to this planning list. Make sense? Anyway ... As you know, Creasie did a bunch of work brainstorming about committees and we put together a rough draft timeline. She can flesh it out at the meeting but I'm adding a list of the committees. She and I came up with a couple names for coordinators -Dan, Dick, Sheilagh- and we penciled you in - but its all open to modification. You all may have other things we didn't think of - if you can get them to me before July 16th, I can incorporate them into the document - otherwise, we can just write them in on the hard copy at the meeting and go from there. So - think about how you'd like to be involved and what else we might need as we go forward. Terry *Committee Secretaries*-ASAP 2 Primary Secretaries to respond to all committee secretaries concerns. Every committee needs a secretary *Calendar Coordination for Multiple Events* -Check and confirm all important dates for internal conflicts and with OPS, City of Oakland and others as necessary to avoid calendar conflicts with outside events Coordinator: Secretary: *Website & Facebook-* maintain and update OT website, Centennial Facebook page and post to all known facebook pages, tech alumni websites Coordinator: Secretary: *Data Base-*manages names and addresses of all alums, etc. for invitations, requests, recruitment, etc. Coordinator: Dan Williams Secretary: *Endowment Fund*-ASAP Coordinators: Dick Wren and Sheilagh Andujar Secretary: *Fundraising*- Coordinator: Secretary: *Recruiting Volunteers Committee*-ASAP Coordinator: Secretary: *Timeline Committee-* watch timeline to make sure all committees are on schedule and help locate extra help when needed Coordinator: Secretary: *PR/Publicity*- develops contacts and sends out announcements to all sources Coordinator: Secretary: *Video Documentary*- Dan Williams has potential names of videogrpahers Coordinator: Secretary: *Entertainment Committee*-ASAP Coordinator: Secretary: *Fashion Committee*- Coordinator: Secretary: Senior Class of 2014- Coordinator: Secretary: *Event Committees *- each event will have its own planning committee, coordinator and secretary Coordinator: Secretary: -- Hi - me again!
